Mountain Precision Mfg, "MPM", located in Boise, Idaho has been designing and manufacturing top quality electronic and mechanical devices for over twenty years..

We strive constantly to improve our products through innovative design engineering, better materials, and utilizing the latest 'state of the art' electronics.

In 1993 we were asked if MPM could build an electronic speech aid. After much research, many models and design changes, we developed the "Nu-Vois" electronic larynx.

• Our first model, Nu-Vois™, had manual control of pitch and volume.
   
• The next model incorporated upgraded electronics and was called Nu-Vois I™.
   
• Our first digital model, Nu-Vois II™, was released in early 1999, and allowed the volume and tonal adjustments to be stored in an electronic memory chip. Being digital has reduced the effects of wear, dirt, and mechanical problems.
   
• Nu-Vois III™: Reliability was brought to a whole new level with the inclusion of switches of our own design starting in late 2000, and has allowed us to increase the warranty on our products to 5 full years.
